Cristiano Ronaldo’s Life and Legacy Museum.
CR7 Life Museum — Hong Kong
Asia's first museum dedicated to Cristiano Ronaldo. Built from a legacy, built to inspire!
Museums are built backwards, from the end. They arrive when the work is finished, the subject is gone, and history has already decided what mattered. None of that was true here. The most documented athlete alive was still playing, and everything anyone knew about him arrived pre-edited: a highlight, a headline, a statistic. Abundance without intimacy. So the question wasn't how to preserve a life. It was how to open one.

The space
Ten zones, in the order they were lived. Madeira. Lisbon. Manchester. Madrid. Turin. Riyadh. Portugal. You don't read the chronology — you walk it, at the pace a life is actually lived, and the geography of the man's career becomes the geography of the room.
And it ends where a museum like this is never supposed to end. Not in the trophy hall. In a room about his family and his fans. The silverware is the middle of the story. It was never going to be the last thing you saw.
1,216 m² of museum, 30 trophies, including Ballon d'Or, Golden Boots, Champions League, Euro 2016; 11 life-size statues. One Legacy like no other.

The legacy to be told
Every season. Every record. Every stage. Every moment.
We went back through the entire career — every season, every club, every record, the moments the world knows by heart and the ones only the family kept — and distilled it into the chronology the museum walks. Research measured against a simple standard: nothing less than the legacy deserved.
Then it went to the one reviewer who couldn't be argued with. Cristiano Ronaldo saw it all, and approved it all.

The name
CR7 LIFE — It begins the day Cristiano Ronaldo was born and refuses to stop at the pitch: the island, the room in Lisbon where a twelve-year-old lived alone, the trophies, and the family footage no one outside the family had ever seen.
That word set the brief for everything downstream. The sequence, the final room, the decision to let a visitor stand inside the life rather than in front of it.
From there, the system: logotypes, illustration, graphics, screen design, and the art direction that carries a visitor from the first wall to the last.

Hong Kong was the only answer to where.
A city that has spent its entire existence as the seam between East and West — the natural ground for a man who belongs to neither and to everywhere.
K11 MUSEA gave us the floor. And we took the experience outside. An aircraft in Hong Kong Airlines livery. The trams and buses that move seven million people. Advertising through the streets the museum stood in. For a year, the city and the museum were the same thing.
CR7 Life Museum
Opened at K11 MUSEA on 7 July 2025 — a date chosen for the obvious reason — and ran a full year to June 2026. Architecture. Narrative. Experience. Identity. Content. Product. City takeover. All powered by 7egend.
Every frame produced in-house, including family photographs and footage never seen by anyone outside it. This is where the ambition of the name is either honoured or exposed. A museum can only claim a life if the life is actually inside it. We had the idea, found the city, drew the walls, wrote the story and put it on the side of an aeroplane. Next, it moves. The next location is still to be announced.
